After Dubai won the bid to host the Expo in 2020, it became clear that the biggest challenge (besides getting the site ready, of course) was overcoming the global perception that expos were just trade shows. So we came up with the plan to reposition the Expo as an important milestone in the story of human civilization. The first film was rather self congratulatory, with its theme of 'what a marvelous species we are!'  After this hearty pat on the back, we followed up with a film about being on the spot to witness the latest breakthroughs in human achievement.  

Both films below were the leading edge of global campaigns, and were trans-created in 14 languages, with tons of supporting content on social. It was all going well until a virus took everything down in 2020. But hang on, it's not over yet. Next episode: our species prevails again.
